A Candle Magic Origin Story
(scroll down to see more)
The very first rituals I ever learned were candle rituals. In the beginning of my path, I worked closely with the Saints & Angels, using their vigil candles in prayer and spellwork.Archangel Michael for protection, Archangel Raphael for healing, and others who walked with me as I learned how energy, intention, and flame could speak to one another.
Those early candles were my teachers.

The Spark That Started Everything
I made a few candles for fun one day, nothing serious, just play and curiosity and shared them with my friend Xenia of Myths of Creation. From that tiny moment came something unexpected: a candle collaboration for her brick-and-mortar shop. It felt like the universe whispering, Keep going.
Over the years, through trial, error, and a lot of heart I developed my own way of crafting intention candles. I draw many of the label illustrations myself, and each candle is blended with herbs, oils, and crystals that resonate with its purpose. Every step is slow, intentional, and sacred an act of devotion rather than production.
When a candle is finished, I place it on my altar for a few days. There it rests with selenite, moonlight, incense smoke, and other crystals so it can soak up clarity, softness, and protection. Sometimes I sing to them, like in this blessing of the moon candles:)

Even if a candle isnt used in a ritual, it still holds the wish that whoever lights it feels a moment of peace, delight, and connection to something larger.

Candle Color Symbolism
Heres a little video I made about candle color symbolism. If youve ever wondered why we reach for certain colors during rituals (or even daily intentions), this might spark a few ideas.
